Flanders Technology & Innovation (FTI) Leuven is city festival about innovation in health that will take place in the heart of Leuven. A city where global impact is created within walking distance. Where we are Extraordinary in what we achieve, Extra Ordinary in who we are.

FTI Leuven is part of Flanders Technology & Innovation, an initiative of the Flemish Government, in collaboration with VLAIO. It is a festival aimed at bringing everyone together around technology and innovation and at strengthening Flanders’ reputation as an ambitious, open region.

Health Tech Sessions is the two-day B2B health programme of FTI Leuven 2026.

Wednesday 21 October focuses on Hardware & AI: the companies, technologies and investment questions behind the next generation of health tech. The day brings health tech entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, clinicians and industry leaders together in Leuven.

Thursday 22 October focuses on Life Sciences: from medical breakthrough to human care. The day brings biotech, pharma, medtech, healthcare, logistics, research and investment leaders together in Leuven. Come if you are bringing research closer to patients, implementing innovation in care, building a health venture or trying to understand how medical breakthroughs become human care.

An invitation-only, curated lunch connecting selected health tech startups, scale-ups, investors and ecosystem partners.

Building hardware-driven health companies often requires patient capital, technical understanding, clinical validation, regulatory insight and long-term commitment. At the same time, investors need access to credible companies, clear milestones and a better understanding of the specific risks and opportunities in health tech.

This curated and exclusive lunch brings together a selected group of health tech startups, scale-ups, investors and ecosystem partners. The goal is to create a focused setting where the right people can meet around concrete funding needs, investment interests and growth ambitions.

Participation in the Deep Tech Investors Lunch is by invitation only. To be considered for an invitation, participants must hold a valid ticket for the Health Sessions on Wednesday 21 October.

! However, a Health Sessions ticket does not automatically guarantee access to the lunch.
We will hand-pick possible attendees who have bought a ticket.

Our Community Dinner is an exclusive executive dinner for companies and their invited guests. We bring together C-level profiles, senior decision-makers, entrepreneurs, investors and key players from the health and innovation ecosystem for an evening of high-level networking, dinner and a keynote speaker.

Companies can purchase a table for 8 guests and use it to invite clients, partners, prospects or strategic relations to a unique evening during FTI Leuven. This also includes access to the Health Tech Sessions - Hardware & AI on Wednesday afternoon for all 8 guests. This makes the Community Dinner a strong opportunity to combine content, hospitality and senior-level networking in one carefully curated setting.

Of course. M Leuven in Leuven is centrally located and easily reachable by public transport, by bike or on foot.

• By train: Leuven Station is a major hub with direct connections to Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, and beyond. From the station, it is a 15-minute walk or a short bus ride to M Leuven.
• By bus: Several local De Lijn buses stop near the venue. The closest stop is Rector De Somerplein, within a 5-minute walk.
• By bike or on foot: Leuven is compact and bike-friendly. The venue is easily accessible from anywhere in the city center.

For precise directions and schedules, we recommend using Google Maps or the NMBS and De Lijn route planners.

Tickets for Health Tech Sessions are available through the ticket shops. You can reserve your spot directly via the 'Tickets' button at the top of your screen. We recommend booking early: seats are limited and demand is high.

*The startup rate is reserved for startups that are part of a recognized startup accelerator programme in Flanders. We may ask you to verify your eligibility after registration. If you are not eligible, we will ask you to upgrade to the regular ticket rate. This helps us keep the startup rate available for the health tech startups it is meant to support.

Paid tickets are always sent to the e-mail address you provided. Have you already looked in the spam folder of your mail? Still can't find the tickets? Mail fti@leuvenmindgate.be and we will be happy to help you.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel your ticket, but you can pass your ticket on to a friend or colleague. This way, someone can still use the ticket and enjoy the event! Please do let us know this change in advance via fti@leuvenmindgate.be.

You will receive an email to sign up on a ticketing platform. Through this you can show your ticket where you will then immediately receive your personal badge. So printing is not necessary in this case.
